![]() ![]() Hello , Welcome back to another edition of The Community – our monthly assemblage of the inspiring stories, exciting updates and big ideas making waves at We Are Unity and beyond. With another financial year now firmly in the rear view mirror, it's time to shift gears. While the last quarter has been all about dealing with rapid change and ambiguity – and carefully planning for what comes next – FY21 is a rallying cry to put all we've learnt into practice and launch ourselves toward a 'new normal' of our own design. At We Are Unity, we've taken great care and consideration in planning our socially distanced return to the office and a bit of agency-wide creative thinking has gone a long way to getting it just right. With some sage advice from our recent Catalyst Conversations Live guest, Shane Fitzsimmons, we know our clients and community have all been taking steps to build resilience in their people and organisations. Not only will this set us up to be more adaptable, but we’re also learning how to bounce back quickly without losing our work-from-home effectiveness. Planning your own return to the office should be a truly collaborative process, with all of your people contributing to what the ‘new normal’ should look like. How you return needs to work for everyone, and a psychologically safe environment where your people are empowered to speak up will lead the way. As we all continue to navigate unchartered territory, look to your organisation’s foundational comms to make an impact. A strong Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition can guide your decisions in a way that aligns with your Brand and keeps you anchored to your Purpose, Vision and Mission. The future of work is very much up for grabs, and we’re ready – and excited – to grab it by the horns. We also sat down with YHA CEO Paul McGrath to talk about resilience in the face of adversity. Which thought leaders would you like us to interview for a future Catalyst Conversation? ![]() ![]() ![]() Interactive wins Great Place to Work It’s International Friendship Day today, and we’re taking the opportunity to shout out our friends at Interactive. It’s an honour to partner with such a progressive (and human) organisation – and it’s no wonder the team just took out the number one spot in the 2020 Great Place to Work Awards. Join the conversation on LinkedIn to congratulate them! Feel like your organisation belongs on the list in 2021? ![]() ![]() World Emoji Day Earlier this month we celebrated World Emoji Day with a look at the role this ‘iconic’ shorthand can play in delivering effective leadership. |
